I am making a request to you on behalf of YTL.We are an operation and maintenance company involved in the operation and maintenance of 404MW combined cycle power plant in YTL. Currently we are in the process of finalising the procurement of electrode assembly having the capacity of 63 Kgs/Hr from M/S. Ti Anode Fabricators,Chennai,India for replacing the exhausted electrode assembly supplied by the OEM, M/S. DENORA, Italy.

M/S Ti Anode have submitted your company's order and details as one of the many references, we would like to have your feed back on the following points:


1.0 How is the performance and quality of the electrodes supplied by Ti Anode?

We thank you for your enquiry regarding M/S TiAnode Fabricators,Chennai,India. We have acted as Consultants and Project manager, on several complete ECU packages for clients in the Oil & Gas industry.

The quality requirements for the Oil* Gas Industry are of the highest order, and on all packages the electrolysis cells were supplied by M/S. TiAnode Fabricators,Chennai,India.

We, are pleased to support TiAnode in regard to your project, and respond to the queries you raise on an item by item basis in blue below. If you need further input, please do not hesitate to contact us soonest, and be assured of our very best attention at all times.


>>For all applications, we have always found the quality of the electrodes to be of the highest standard. In regard to performance, they have always exceeded the design requirements by a comfortable margin.

2.0 If there is any problem in the quality and performance , please provide some information, if not in full.

>>We have never had any concern regarding quality, and performance has always exceeded design requirements by at least 15%. This is a great comfort since we find that at most sites, seawater feed quality will vary on a seasonal basis. For brine based systems variation in quality of feed water should not apply.

3.0 Did Ti Anode meet the delivery requirements as per the purchase order?

>> Yes

4.0 Have you placed any other orders also on Ti Anode?

>> Ti Anode are our preferred vendors for all our clients, and we have been responsible for placing repeat orders with them.

5.0 What is the feed back from the end user of Ti Anode electrodes?

>> All feed back from end users is positive. We have had no negative feed back in regard to the part of the ECU packages supplied by TiAnode, i.e. the electrolysis cells.

6.0 How is the after sales technical service/support provided by Ti Anode?

>> TiAnode have continued to provide excellent technical/service and support after delivery of their cells.

7.0 What is your overall rating / opinion about Ti Anode?

>> Our overall rating for TiAnode is excellent. They are also cost effective.

8.0 Do you have any hesitation in recommending them to us?

>> We recommend them to you without hesitation.

9.0 For how many years the electrodes supplied by Ti Anode are in service?

>> The oldest commissioned plant has been in service for nearly 12 months from FAT.

10.0 Is the voltage drop across the electrodes and chlorine production within the specification?

>> The cells have performed at all times within [usually above] specification. Provided the appropriate acid wash procedures are carried out, then their should be no problems during operation.
