Cathode is a Titanium material and Ruthenium oxide coating material with titanium substrate act as anode. 30 grams of NACL we added in water per liter which act as the conductive material and also help in electrolysis process to produce the chlorine. Electro-oxidation has been applied to treat a wide variety of harmful BOD & COD presence in the water. Due to its relatively high operating costs, people are not ready to implement the system.
Depending on the effluent nature, an increase of the conductivity of the solution may be required: the value of 1000 mS/cm is commonly taken as a threshold. Salts like sodium chloride or sodium sulfate can be added to the solution, acting as electrolytes, thus raising the conductivity. Typical values of salts concentration are in the range of few grams per liter, but the addition has a significant impact on power consumption and can reduce it by up to 30%.

Tiaano, India established in 1992 into designing, manufacturing and supply of PPE, CTE, PPME, Bi-polar, Mono-polar & Reverse polarity ELECTROLYZERS (assembly of anode & cathodes) for Electrochlorinator Anodes are made from Titanium substrate with the Ru based DSA activation with brine water as well as sea water. Cathodes are made from the substrates of Titanium, Hastelloy or Steel. The range of chlorine production capacity of single electrolyzer is starting from few grams to 250 kilograms per hour (6000 kgs/day). We meet the higher capacity plants by multifold arrangement of said electrolyzers. We design the cells to consume 3.5 to 5.0 DC Voltages, with the 5 years life warrantee for DSA activation, life may extended further two years, based on proper periodical maintenance.

LECTRO OXIDATION AND ELECTRO COAGULATION processtogether treats the water as a disinfection using our Titanium substrate MMO coated plates assemblies with the catalyst of Ruthenium Oxide (RuO2).
Treatment of a low BOD COD ratio landfill leachate was conducted by means of electrochemical oxidation process. Electrochemical oxidation process is effective in removing pollutants from landfill leachate.
Electro-oxidation (EO), also known as anodic oxidation, is a technique used for wastewater treatment, mainly for industrial effluent playing roll in advanced oxidation process. The most general layout comprises two electrodes, operating as anode and cathode, connected to a power source.
Electro-oxidation is an excellent and eco-friendly technique for the removal of persistent organic contaminants, electrochemical advanced oxidation processes are ordinarily used to remove COD and BOD presence in the water. However, this technique suffers the primary disadvantage of high energy consumption and low current efficiency.
