Application of Electrochlorinators

Electro chlorination System in Power Stations: Sodium hypochlorite is introduced into the seawater intake to the power station where it prevents fouling of the mechanical equipment, such as the seawater circulating pumps, bar screens and drum screens. By controlling the fouling of the steam condensers [in the thermal power stations powered by either nuclear energy or fossil fuel located along the seacoast], will significantly increase the efficiency of power generation.

Electro chlorination System in Desalination Plants: Prevention of fouling in the equipments due to the growth of marine organisms - will increase its efficiency, when seawater is evaporated to produce potable water through multiple flash distillations or the salt is removed from the seawater by means of reverse osmosis.

Electro chlorination System Coastal installations: Electro chlorination System prevents the marine growth [either micro type or macro type fouling] that takes place when seawater is used as cooling water in Chemical plants, refineries, LNG production facilities, steel mills, Sewage treatment plants and other coastal industries that use seawater as a coolant.

Offshore treatment: system economically and safely produces powerful biocide and disinfecting agent. When injected into the cooling water circuits, on-site generated sodium hypochlorite solution provides efficient protection to the equipment against the growth of organic fouling (micro and macro). These systems generate sodium hypochlorite from seawater using an extensively field-proven electrochemical process suited for befouling control in water flood, cooling water and fire water loops.

It oxidizes the sewage in electrochemical cell as well as generates NaOCl for the disinfection of the marine waste streams. Marine sewage treatment units provide effective electrolytic treatment of both black and grey water, meeting personnel treatment capacities ranging from one to more than five hundred people, through a patented and certified process. The piping and valves included in these units meets ASTM D-1784 industry standards.

Swimming pool: When we pass mildly salted (3 to 4 gram per litter - which is 90% less salty than normal seawater) pool water through the electrolyzer, the salt is converted in to chlorine which disinfects it and kills any algae and bacteria. The water in the swimming pool becomes silky soft to the skin, no slat taste & kind to your hair. The process operates continuously whilst the filtration system is in action, cleansing the water thoroughly without the need for extra additives.
